FRAN ROGERS and KATRINA, MARK & FRIENDS LIVE AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH NEXT WEEK!

Katrina, Mark & Friends began playing as a folk duo in the fall of 2009. Since then the bittersweet voice of singer Katrina Morse has threaded through smokey blues, alt-country, and southern flavored folk. A Seattle, WA native, Morse brings impressive range and dedication to language and melody along with the Pacific northwestern passion for independent folk. Guitarist Mark Gannon plays solid rhythms and the down-home soulful leads he's known for as a member of R&B band Last Call, and a wailing blues harp thrown in for good measure. Bass player Jeff Lindberg came aboard in 2010 following some time as a noise drummer in Eugene, OR. JP's own Katrina, Mark & Friends capture a vintage blend of southern, soul, and passionate folk, half electric and half acoustic. Listen up: http://www.reverbnation.com/katrinamarkfriends.
